Hello, Royal Blue Fans and newbies. I hope you read Part I of the Royal Visit to the Sorcerer, or you’ll be lost. And newbies, you might want to start from the very beginning of Royal Blue to see how Mimi’s troubles came about and how she and her faithful servant turned into superheroes for the time being while trying to get the frog prince turned back into her husband, the Prince.
Fortressa: Kaboom, nothing is working. We’re stuck in these trees! My body is not responding. Are you frozen too?
Kaboom: Yes, my Queen. But I can feel my feet move a little.
Fortressa: Can you move your hand over to mine? Something tells me that if we try and hold hands, our powers will unlock and free us.
Fortressa: Well, you must have a sixth sense. I’ll try.
Mimi tries to wriggle her arm free from the branches that are locking her in. She closes her eyes, her fingers begin to move, next her wrist, and finally her arm loosens enough to wrest it free. Pushing outwards, she reaches Kaboom’s hand.
Kaboom: Good job, my Queen. Concentrate on pushing the trees away from our bodies.
Fortressa: Oh, my. Kaboom, it’s working. My other arm is free, and I can feel my feet. There must be a magic word I have inside me somewhere, or something a superhero might say. How about, Fortressa above all, commands these trees to fall.
Trees fall away and the sorcerer’s spell is undone.
Kaboom: My Queen, you have saved us.
Fortressa: Yes, but the Prince is still a frog. The wizard couldn’t change him back, and the sorcerer refuses to, and who knows if he even knows how.
The sorcerer appears hearing what Mimi has just said. He approaches them.
